About Me
Hi! My name is Erika Hartfield, and I am a COTA (certified occupational therapy assistant) with six-plus years of experience. I have experience in both a school and clinical setting working with children from birth-21 years of age. I discovered my love of helping children learn to write and the joy it brought the child when they succeeded! So I put my faith to work and turned my passion for teaching children and my love of the Lord into a career.
Handwriting is a vital life skill that I have noticed many students struggle with. Unfortunately, I noticed that schools are no longer teaching this skill correctly. I started Scribbling Hands to revive a vital life skill and help kids overcome writing difficulties. I desire to bridge the gap, not only with improving fine motor skills, but bringing the word of God back into homes and schools.
I am a Handwriting Without Tears® Level 1 Certified Handwriting Specialist. I have specialized skills and experience using their materials and teaching their curriculum with great results! I can’t wait to meet you and restore the joy of writing within your child!
Let’s Write!
